IPER is supported by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Ministry of Labour of Government of India as a number of projects and programmes are being carried out under these Ministries. The Government of West Bengal especially the Department of Women and Child Development, School Education, Labour, Health render help by providing different  materials like text books for children, logistic support and the most important by processing and recommending the projects to the Central Government with the required inspection and monitoring reports.

Other major supports are obtained through funding agencies like District Administrations of South 24 Parganas and Kolkata, Reach_India USAID, GOAL India, NIWANO Peace Foundation of Japan, NFICH and SIMAVI of Netherlands and Diaconia University of Applied Sciences at Helsinki Finland. We also have a close cooperation with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Last but not the least we work with innumerable individuals and organisations both government and non-government, who by their unstinted support, sponsorship and encouragement help us to implement the different programmes in a fruitful and effective manner.

‘Teach-India Programme’ with ‘The Times of India’-
IPER is a collaborative organisation of the Teach India Programme launched in August 2008 by Times of India. More than 100 volunteers participated in IPER’s educational programme at different Community Learning Centres.

SANGAM Project with IICP-
IPER is working in the community with Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy in their SANGAM project for identifying disabled persons in the community and supporting them with required aids. Also awareness and training are held with teachers and people of the community on disability, identification symptoms and ways of handling them. Disability ID cards too are issued to the disabled persons.

Soroptimist International of South Kolkata-
  

Soroptimist International of South Kolkata, a professional women’s group working for the uplift of the deprived, especially women, have taken-up some joint project with IPER for giving vocational training to a few young girls and holding classes with some of the children twice a month at IPER premises.

Kolkata Municipal Corporation-

IPER is working closely with the Department of Health of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in three Boroughs namely VII, IX and X. Medical Officers and HMC staff of the Health Centres along with IPER Health Team carried out health check-up of children from the slums in KMC Wards 65, 67, 81, 83, 84, 93 and 94.

Maheshtala Municipality-

Since March 2009 IPER has developed a project in close cooperation with Maheshtala Municipality and Kolkata Urban Slum Project. The work on education and women empowerment through awareness and education is being run in Wards 4, 5, 6 and 9 in the Northern fringe of the Municipality.

Frukt. R.F & ‘Kalkutan lapsetry’
Since 2001 in Finland two organizations came up for the children of Kolkata to facilitate Finnish sponsors for children. They advocate, facilitate the collection of sponsorship money and reporting to the sponsors which IPER mails to them. Any expansion of the programme of reaching out to more children they are the first to initiate it in their co
